The International Federation of Football History and Statistics has ranked the Nigeria Professional Football League as the 57th strongest national league in the world, reports Completesports.com.
The NPFL is however ranked in seventh position in Africa.
The NPFL jumped from 77th in 2018 to 57th position in 2019.
The Tunisian Ligue 1 is ranked in number one position in Africa, followed by Morocco, Egypt , Angola, South Africa,
Zambia , Nigeria and Algeria.
The English PremierLeague is ranked as the strongest league in the world , with Brazil, LaLiga, Serie A and Colombia’s Primera A in the top five.
